01-CHENNAI
The Capital of Tamil Nadu,popularly known as the Gateway to the South"
On arrival you will be met and welcomed by our representative at the
International airport and transferred to Hotel. Later you will visit
St.george Fort, built in 1653 -now houses the Secretariat and Legislative
Assembly of Tamil Nadu.St.mary's Church, the oldest Anglican Church in India
with its premise .Sri Parthasarathy Temple built by Pallavas in the 8th
century-Overnight at your Hotel..
DAY 02 -HENNAI -MAHABALIPURAM(145 Kms)
Today you will be driving to Mahabalipuram via Kanchipuram, the temple city
is on the way to MahabalipuramOne of the seven sacred cities of Hindus. It
was the capital of the early Cholas. The city is also famous for its silk
weavers.Out of the remaining 125 temples in Kanchipuram the most important
is Ekambareshwarer spread over an area of 20 acres and has a tall 58.5 m
south gopuram adorned with beautiful sculptures. Mahabalipuram is 70 kms
from Kanchipuram.Pallavas have created many marvelous monuments with
sculptural panels, caves Monolithic rathas and Temples.- Overnight at your

DAY 03- MAHABALIPURAM/TANJORE
Today you will be driving from Mahbalipuram to Thanjavur(Tanjore)visiting
enroute temples of Chidambaram, the seat of Cosmic Dancer , Lord
Nataraja.Spread over an area of 40 acres with a gopuram on each side.108

DAY 04- THANJAVUR/TIRUCHY(56 Kms)
After breakfast you will Dravadian architecture by visiting Brihadeshwara

05- TIRUCHY/MADUARI (128 Kms)
Early morning visit Srirangam,surrounded by river Kaveriis 600 acre
islandenclosed within the gigantic Sri Ranganathaswamy temple and Rockfort
temples ,rock-cut temple situated on banks of the river Kaveri344 steps hewn
out of rock lead to the top where the inscriptions dating back to 3rd

DAY 06 -MADURAI
After break fast, sightseeing of Sri Meenakshi temple,Thriumalainayakar
Mahal.In the evening witness prayer ceremony at Meenakshi temple-Overnight
